Since 1998, when I first opened my law offices as a Portland Oregon lawyer, I have represented clients in bodily injury claims resolved through jury trial, arbitration, and settlement. What sets me apart from other personal injury lawyers in Oregon is my philosophy about practicing law as a trial lawyer: keep it simple, talk like a normal person, use honey instead of vinegar when you can, stay realistic about the strong and weak points of every case, and be prepared for trial if no reasonable settlement offers are made. Good decision making and quality advocacy earned a reputation good enough to get case referrals from other personal injury attorneys in Oregon. I look forward to applying those skills to every client\'s case. I was born in Washington, DC, grew up in Kansas and moved to Portland in 1994 to go to law school at the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. I graduated and was admitted to practice in Oregon in 1997 and learned the ropes while I worked for two prominent Portland Oregon lawyers.
