Biography

Thad Doughty is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to opening Doughty Law Firm in April 2000, Thad served as a state prosecutor in Aiken and Berkeley counties and as a public defender in Aiken County. He also served as a Judge Advocate General\\\'s Corps (JAG) officer performing duties as both a military prosecutor and defense counsel for the United States Air Force and the United States Army Reserves. Thad Doughty has extensive trial experience having tried hundreds of cases as a prosecutor, public defender, JAG officer and private attorney. Thad is licensed in South Carolina state and federal courts. He has been a certified federal criminal defense attorney since 2001.
