Biography
The Firm now known as Bottar Law, PLLC, is central New York\'s largest law firm dedicated to representing injured patients, workers, motorists and consumers. Founded in 1983, the Firm enjoys a hard-earned reputation as one of New York\'s preeminent personal injury law firms with a history of record recoveries for thousands of seriously injured clients and their families, including one of the largest plaintiff\'s personal injury verdicts in New York State history ($47,700,000.00). For more than three decades, the Firm\'s legal team has pioneered cutting-edge legal theories to maximize results for its clients, such as the creation of new law in 2003, when the Firm persuaded the New York State Court of Appeals - the State\'s highest court - to allow expert testimony in support of the res ipsa loquitur doctrine in medical malpractice cases (see States v. Lourdes Hospital, 100 N.Y.2d 208 (2003)). Every day, the Firm\'s accomplished and civic-minded attorneys apply more than 100 years of combined legal experience to medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases. The Firm\'s attorneys also hold leadership positions in bar associations, proudly support community organizations, and lecture, teach and publish annual on practice-related topics.
